We were contacted by a family in Riggins, Idaho that were uncomfortable with paranormal activity happening in their home. The residence, built in 1918, had a lot of history including being a funeral home at one point, and also had a possible murder on the property. The family was experiencing doors opening and closing on their own, manipulation of object in their home and physical attacks. Their youngest child also refused to sleep in their own room, which was becoming problematic.
The team spent two nights here while the family stayed in a motel room. Although no activity was experienced by team members, we did capture quite a few unexplained voices in the form of EVP.
The team also discovered that the numerous space heaters used in the house for heating we giving off high levels of EMF, which could have contributed to some of the activity the family thought they were experiencing. We advised the family to replace those with units that would give off lower EMF, which they promptly did, and now the youngest has no issues sleeping in her own room throughout the night.
We are very glad that this family reached out to us, and that we were able to help document the activity they were experiencing, as well as helping the family feel more comfortable in their home.
