History​

Kuna's Book Habit is a locally owned bookstore and gift shop located in Kuna, Idaho. Established in February 2023 by Bryan McBee, the store was founded to address the community's need for better access to books. Since its opening, Kuna's Book Habit has become a vibrant community hub, offering new and used books, board games, and a variety of gifts. The store also hosts weekly and monthly events for all ages, fostering a love for reading and literacy within the community. To further promote reading among children, the bookstore organizes seasonal reading programs where participants can earn free books, encouraging young readers to engage with literature. In addition to its literary offerings, Kuna's Book Habit has undergone recent changes, including a relocation within its current building at 102 E 2nd St, moving to the other side of the structure to better serve its patrons. As of March 2024, the bookstore celebrated its first anniversary, marking a year of successful operations and community engagement. Through its diverse offerings and community-focused initiatives, Kuna's Book Habit continues to be a cherished establishment in the Kuna community.​

Paranormal Activity

Reports from the building include a strong sense of uneasiness on the second floor, unexplained banging, footsteps, knocking, activated motion sensors, feelings of being watched, and hearing children laughing.

During our investigation, we found unusually high EMF levels throughout the building, especially in the attic. High EMF exposure can cause sensations of being watched, visual disturbances, dizziness, nausea, rashes, and general discomfort.

We concluded that most of the client’s experiences were likely due to the elevated EMF, though we did capture a few EVPs that matched their claims.

A follow-up investigation is planned, during which we will cut off all power to eliminate EMF contamination and see if the sensations persist.
